Dr. David Palfreyman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Languages at Zayed University, Dubai, and Chief Editor of the journal "Learning and Teaching in Higher Education: Gulf Perspectives".
David teaches courses in written composition, language analysis and research methodology; supervises and examines doctoral work; mentors educators in ELT and Higher Education, and researches contexts of language learning, teaching and use.
David holds a PhD in Language Studies and an MA in Language in the Multicultural Community. Before joining Zayed University he worked with students and educators in Turkey and in the UK, as well as teaching in Italy and Spain.
